Sometimes Chartsdata may mess up or may give some problems so we always must have alternate option in our hand. So I have come up with another application which is made by a friend Avanish of Stocklive.in . This application feeds data to Amibroker exclusively and name of the application is “Realtime DataFeeder For Amibroker”
Features of Realtime DataFeeder For Amibroker:-
- Realtime DataFeeder is very user friendly, even newbies can use it very easily.
- No Format file addition or any other configuration is required in Amibroker unlike other Realtime Data Feeding softwares.
- Back Fill of 1 Min data for one day, 5 Min data for 5 days , and EOD data for last 6-7 years and can be done very fast.
- Data downloaded is in text files so this can be used to import in many TA softwares like Metastock, Fcharts, Excel and others.
- Realtime data comes to Amibroker every 5 secs, 10 secs, 15 secs and 20 secs time interval. You can set your required time interval.
- Supports 180 stocks at a time unlike Chartsdata which have support of only 2 scrips in limited version.
- It works on both Trial and Licensed versions of Amibroker.
Requirements for Installing Realtime DataFeeder For Amibroker:-
- You must have installed Microsoft DotNet Framework v 2.0 and more(Latest)
- You must have account with Yahoo Finance so as to get quotes almost RT.
Things to Remember:-
- While using RealTime DataFeeder for Amibroker you must have logged in to http://finance.yahoo.com
- As data is downloaded from Yahoo server any delay or discrepancies in data or server issues with Yahoo may come.
